Ok so with the local bike shops stocking the normal brands and Genesis.
I have been looking at other options for a 'do it all' bike, wanted to get a MTB but if I am honest with myself, it would only see the odd bit of off road. So thinking of a more do it all bike rather than my current Cube Cross Race Disc.
So the options are
Singular Gryphon (the Peregrine is not being made currently)
Cotic Escapade
Salsa Fargo
With then some RS685's etc
So what do you think would be a better bet.
If you need a large, I have an "as new" Large Fargo I am about to sell. Love the bike but needed a medium, and now ride that every day and love it. It's a cream 2012, yours for £800 no haggling.

Always worth a look here http://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/frames-forks-c6 and adding All City to your list. I've got the macho man disc and I'm very pleased with it.
Did quickly look at the All City.. Might have to have another look now..
What's wrong with the cube? I'd have it over any of those you listed, especially if you're not riding it off road much.
http://blog.treefortbikes.com/index.php/posts/4083 this review confirmed my choice. Happy bike hunting 1 shed.
I like the cube but fancy a change so looking at the bikes mentioned.
I do keep looking at a MTB tho.
Do a search for my review of the Fargo on this here site. It is a terrific bike and ideal for someone who likes to do a little bit of everything. I have no doubt the Cotic and the Singular bikes are also excellent but I have the Fargo and speak from experience as a very satisfied owner.
Fargo for the win!!!!!
Make it even better and put Jones loop bars on.

Trying to find one in stock is hard due to Salsa changing the distribution in the UK
Quite liking the Singular Gryphon
Over 6k miles on my Fargo! 8)
Van Dessel WTF, builds like a mtb with drops. Not for the shy the most commented upon bike I've ever owned.
The cube will be the lightest frame, the others are quite hefty lumps but more versatile. If you can put up with the weight I can vouch for Singular being a great ride
End the end I did go for a Genesis, High Latitude 20. Mainly due to the costs and the fact the car ended up needing some new tyres etc, But so far I love it..
More relaxed commute to and from work..
Added my Saddle, KCNC post and Odi grips..
Thanks to all that posted a reply.
Salsa Fargo is a lovely lovely bike, but its not an MTB and i found the steel one too stiff (tho talking about first gen, not newer sus models).
My Singular Swift was sublime ride, but didnt get on with the fit. Gryphon looks spot on tho.
Currently ride a steel Salsa ElMariachi. If you want flat bars and rigid forks its superb.
