they are in my price range and i like all these 3

comparing specs etc what you guys recon is the better buy?

personal opinion. There isn't a huge amount of difference in the specs

The FSR XC was my first mountain bike and I thought it was perfectly capable.

Why not get a 2009 trance x3 as you get far more bike for your money?

Giant. But as above, you'll find that a lot of old model bikes have a better spec for the money. 2010 bikes often aren't that hot for the price

FSR was my first "proper" mountain bike,but it was a long time ago.Set me on my way to mountain biking nirvana.

2007 FSR XC Pro was my first full-susser, and I'm very pleased with it.

The only downside is that the suspension bearings went after about two years, and had to get them changed by my lBS, although I did use a trailer on it on a couple of tours, which can't have helped.

i livin in the alps so i do freeride and xc bits of dh
