I'm thinking of getting some new brakes from Rose bikes. Is there much difference between the SLX and XT?
Also I see that they are "wrong" way round, front brake left, rear brake right. How easy is it to swap the hoses over, and do I need to get anything to help me do the job?

My XTs came with all the bits I needed to swap, and you'd have to shorten hoses anyway, so it's no extra work.
And they are soooo cheap 🙂
