Wow, seems to be a real drought in bike films over the last few years. At a guess, production costs have gone up as the production quality has as well, more people doing their own thing and not everything captured, but interesting to see the change in big releases from years ago to lack of them now but a huge hike in more social media type of releases (Danny, Akrigg, Fabio, etc.)...

Aware that site doesn't capture everything so may just not be getting updated, but it does show the difference.

Yeah, I've said a drought but I think the films are being released in a different way now and using social media more than a DVD to buy and watch, so there is more probably available but fewer avenues to alert you to it as they are so frequent but also are added to social media where not everyone sees them.

I can't see many people paying the $20 to pre-order seasons now. Torrenting just about did for the last few films, and social media edits probably now fill the niche but funded by sponsors not sales.

Last big one was Gambler wasn't it? And even that was an in house film. Utter bastard to get a personal copy too.

There is still a niche there, I don't see why there wouldn't be, it just needs someone to go out and do it. Is torrenting even a thing any more? (I mean, yes, it is but it's hardly mainstream now is it?)

Teton Gravity Research released Accomplice last year (now streaming on Netflix) that's not on the list.  Well worth a look!
