Looking at replacing my rear with a dhf minion. I'm already running this upfront in 2.5 was wondering how much smaller the 2.3 comes up? Given that the 2.5 isn't that big should I just go the same out back?

I'd go for the 2.5 on the rear as well.
DHF on the rear.
The 2.3 minion has been designed using a new ruler rather than the 'out of calibration' one they had when designing the original minion. It comes up somewhere between a 2.35 and 2.5 so not much smaller than what you have on the front.
2.4 Minion DHR 2 is marginally wider than a 2.5 DHF. So go for a 2.3 DHR 2 or a 2.5 DHF.
