for shock / suspension bolts? if there is one that will do all bolts on my bike that will be even better still but im guessing the shock bolts will need a higher strength threadlock.

Cheers,
J

Nah I'd stick to the low strength 222 stuff, last thing you want it glue on too tight

Blue. Red (stud grade) is for things you never want to undo again.

Apparently blue (242) is medium strength, and 222 is low strength. Blue is perfectly undoable later on.

And if you live near any airbase or aerospace firms, have a look round your local car boots. The stuff for aeroplanes all has expiry dates on, and ends up getting binned / walking out the back door of the hangar. Still works fine, but costs you a lot less ๐Ÿ˜†

looks like the blue stuff is 243 (breaks at 26Nm for an m10 bolt so sounds about right).

next question is what size bottle to last me a while. 10,50 or 250ml????

242 breaks at 11.5 Nm so maybe not...

10ml will last a while. 50ml will last your entire life, or until you lose it.

You don't put much on - by definition there's not much space between the bolt and the thread, so a little goes a long way.

Do the shock bolts not go into a nut? If so, just get some nyloc nuts instead. Why do you want to threadlock all your bike's bolts? Just use a light coat of grease and you'll be fine. It'll also make refitting bolts much easier/quicker as you won't have to strip all the old threadlock from the threads.
