My c.5 year old Montane Featherlite jacket has finally bitten the dust. Busted zip. It's served me very well. The fact that it packs down to nothing is probably it's greatest attribute, because it means I always take it with me.
Love it as I do, I'm not prepared to £80-£100 for a like-for-like replacement.
What Pertex style alternatives are there in the £50 range? I'm favouring light weight good breathability, but can take a view on water and wind resistance.

I recently got an Asics running jacket, £7 from TK Maxx. Its windproof and packs small anyway.
Could be worth a look for that sort of thing.
Or the Alpkit Arro, £32.
