northshore and jumping and 4x not really my thing, after flowy loop or loops, 2-3 hours riding, going to either Chicksands or woburn (not been to either for years)

which is best?

If I can get some Eggbeater cleats after work today I'll be over there.

Never been to Woburn but I wouldn't bother with Chicksands for XC.

Just so you know, its the NPS 4X at Chicksands this weekend anyway.

Woburn is a good little place, there's a nice bit of properly cut single track and lots of stuff you shouldn't ride.

Be careful of the gorse bushes though, they're nasty spikey

Has anyone here tried the new additions to the 'red arrow' route round chicksands? Opinions?

woburn was great!

the big bombhole business was a bit intimidating, but i got the impression there was more there than we found, xcwise.

did the other side of the road too which was ok, some nice lengthy rooty descents on the bombhole side also.
