Never tried Maxxis Hgh Roller 2's and for that matter Maxxis. Im led to believe Im missing out on a very good tyre!!!
Im in need of replacing a pair of Rubber Queens 2.2 Black Chilli's, which I really like, and to be honest wouldn't have an issue with another pair, but thought Id give the Maxxis High Roller camp a go.
As I know nothing of the Maxxis High Roller's which one should I be plumbing for? Cant go any wider than the RQ2.2's as these are pretty snug as it is and Im interested in the Tubeless Ready as they're going on to some Crest rims.
General trail riding......and thats about it 🙂
Might be too burly for trail riding, I had a 2.4in HR2 on a 6in AM bike and sacked it off 'cos it was too draggy.
I much prefer Minion DHF from Maxxis - or have a look at the On One Smorgasbord and Chunky Monkey - they're sort of halfway between a RQ and a HR - IMO.
hummm draggy is the last thing I want. They're on a 120mmFS trail bike. Quick and grippy is a better requirement description.
