[#10413381]

Optimistically hoping for a range of suggestions for a 650B hardtail with EBB please....

Not sure there are actually (any) options but I figure its worth asking....

Currently riding a Bird Zero TR which is great but I'd prefer more adjustability when it comes to chain tension. Neither the Surly singleator nor the 4Jeri tensioners are working out for me.

Probably more around with slidy/horizontal dropouts rather than EBBs.

Does the Zero TR have ISCG mounts? If so, I’d use a Blackspire Stinger, or something like that, as a tensioner rather than a mech hanger mounted one. Tidier, out of the way and doesn’t hinder wheel removal.

Bahookie?

Or if you're thinking somethig lower/longer/slacker, we can do the Shug with an EBB.

Have you considered getting a wheel built up with a Whites Industries Eccentric Rear Hub (I'm assuming single speed use).

EDIT:: except your Bird is probably boost spacing, so a 135mm hub ain't gonna fit...

would need to check hub clearance - this has been done plenty before but I'll put a word for the Swift if you can find current model.

My chumba hx1. 650b + or 29 apparently .I ran it as a 26 s/s. Not as long as the bird but was pretty good really.

Stanton do 650b frames, and they can come with SS dropouts.

Not an EBB, but should do the job if you just want to run SS.

DNR trailstar....comes with 142x12 dropouts, but you can fit horizontal ones instead.

Currently £180 off at DMR too.

No idea what's out there with a EBB, but with sliding dropouts, Soma Riff, or less fancy, Kona Explosif? Or the All City Log Lady?

Otherwise, there are some 26er frames that could work. I used to have a Whyte Steel 19 built single speed with 27x2.2" tyres, still loads of clearance. See here.

A friend has a Soma B-Side he is looking to sell in medium (orange frame).

Thanks again, good STW people. I should have said that I would favour aluminium and a frame that would work with my 130mm forks. Looks like I will need to wait for a Pinnacle Ramin 3+ to come up.

You can fit a EBB to a Onza Jackpot

No EBB these days, but the Chameleon still has swappable dropouts which include singlespeed compatibility and I think the rest of the bike meets your spec.
