I really like the Surly Nice due it's burlyness and the fact that it has a decent sized platform, however it's heavy and expensive. And an overkill. Anyone got any suggestions? can't find anything even near the Surly's level apart from a blackburn which I'm not really liking. Thanks 🙂

How much gear are you planning on carrying where you need a burly front rack with a platform?

Or go for Thorn's own low-rider rack also from SJS (or from your LBS) - best racks we've ever come across.
