Evening all.
I've got a (deep breath) 29in RockShox Recon Silver RL Solo Air Fork, 2018 and it's making a decidedly squelchy noise when compressing or rebounding. I hope it's not beyond repair as I need a straight steerer. It's set up at 100mm travel just now but I'd be up for pulling the spacers out as an experiment.

I'm up for giving it a service myself, or I would be if I could find the right service kit. There are lots online but seem to be for recons of around 2010 vintage, but I picked mine up new from CrC early last year.

Oils aren't an issue, they at least seem to be standard.

Have you tried the Rockshox Trailhead website / app that you put the serial number (stamped at the back of the crown) in ?

The RS site is useful but sometimes wrong. It gave me a part number for a non-boost service kit (different wiper seals) which caused a few headaches. TF are barely more expensive than a random amazon seller and you’ll actually get the bits that fit.

Definitely ring TF Tuned - the guys on the phone are the actual techs doing the work - they sold me the right combo of bits, slea,s oils etc to do a set of Rhythm 34's which was not available online.

Thanks to all who pointed me towards TF Tuned. Very helpful indeed, a kit of everything I need to refresh the fork turning up tomorrow.
