For sending items £600-800 in value?

Not sent anything of value for a while and noticed how much costs have risen.

Looked at parcel to go and that came out at £48ish without the insurance.
Send it now is around £40 with insurance.

Any others that I should try?

TIA

I've used these before:

They use City Link and are about as cheep as I've found anywhere.
They offer insurance up to £1500 for a £3.50 premium.

I too have used gwizz recently. Easy and good value. UPS picked up my frame and sent it to Ireland for a very reasonable price (£25 ish I think).

Another thumbs up for GWizz - I've used them for a bike, a frame and a wheelset on different occasions recently (I've opted for UPS each time) and they've all arrived without any problems.

The complete bike including £2000 insurance was about £10 although the insurance was on offer for only £1 at the time.
