Looking to maybe....buy a chain device for my orange five S but not sure which one will fit as I am not the best of terms and bike knowledge
The five S has triple front rings...??
It will depend if your looking to go for a single or double setup. You need to remove outer ring for double and remove outer and granny for single. I think thats how it works anyway; I'm about to convert my five to double so will find out soon enough. I have a spare bash ring lying around so i'm going for the Blackspire Stinger as it seems the cheapest and best option. If I didt have a spare bash id prob either go with the Gamut based on my mates recommendation. If I was going for single set up i fancy the simplicity of the straitline silent guide although I havent and experience using it, and im not fit enough for a single either. Your five will have ISCG tabs so make sure you go for that option.
E-13 DRS worked on my 2011; I was using a double & bash up front.
Will this fit ? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=58726
Will be looking to take the outer ring off so I use the other two
That will fit and would work nicely, except it's for a single ring only. So you'd have to junk your granny ring and front mech too.
Ahh looking for double set up, can anyone recommend a double set up for me for the small and middle ring please, looked at a lot online and don't know what will fit??? Confused.com
Why do you want a double setup? Why do you want a chain device?
Orange supply Five's with a double ring set up using a Gamut system.
Personally I haven't found the need for a double after going straight to a single ring on mine.
