on the back of another thread, I am replacing the chain on my 1x11 setup as it's at 0.75 wear (I usually just run the whole thing to death...) . It's the original chain, which is a KMC X11-EL1, on an XT8000 drivetrain on a 2017 Anthem.
I have always used Shimano chains, so my default would be an XT one, however the KMC gets decent reviews and has shifted perfectly for the year and a half I have had it. Similar prices available for both. Which would you order ???

i always get kmc . SL or EL

I've always found KMC chains look shinier than shimano ones for longer. That's enough for me.
