My lovely wife has offered to buy me a Carradice bag for my birthday this year, and I just can't decide which one!

So, recommendations please? General usage profile, across 2/3 bikes:
Commuting; currently a 7litre rack-pack works for that.
Occasional light-weight hosteling/touring; ideally as the sole bag.
Occasional Bikepacking; for storing either sleeping system or other cooking/clothing stuff.

Was thinking of either a traditional bag or an SQR Tour, but undecided on that, let alone bag size.

Oh, and I don't have a brooks saddle at the moment, so attachment system, is open too.

whichever one you go for, get the SQR system, (comes as standard on SQR bags though obviously)

I have a super C saddlebag.

+1 for SQR Tour. I've also got a Nelson saddlebag with SQR mount. I use the Tour and a 20 litre rucsac for bivi biking, the Nelson for commuting and long road rides. Make sure you have enough clearance between tyre and bottom of bag. Can be tight on small frames.

interesting.

My SQR set is 6 years old and used every week with no problems.

What happened to you clubmate's one?
