Trying to choose between genuine Shimano pads with cooling fins and Uberbike ones for much less money without fins.
Any advantage of one over the other? Do the fins make a lot of difference?

I don't reckon fins are necessary for most, but they look good! Unless your a bit hefty, like me, or live in the Alps, unlike me.lol

Trickstuff 250 Power, end of. Best pads I've ever used - fins don't make a noticeable difference.

Fins are only useful if your brakes are shit.
I hated Uber's racematrixes but their kevlars are good, I've got those in just about everything atm.
