Hi
Can anyone offer advice on the following
Which bike ?
Giant Talon 0 29er with Recon Gold forks 100mm travel and Elixer 3 brakes or Orange Clockwork S with Recon silver 120mm travel and Elixer 1 brakes. Both bikes priced the same at £1145 and the erest of the spec is similar
red one.
The red one beginning with G
Talon...

Thanks
There are so many bikes in this price range. seems to be a good price to go in at with the specs you get. Giant seem to be producing good bikes for the money. Anyone got any other suggestions other that the two i have mentioned
Thanks

Single speed rigid 29er is the way forward! 😉

That's a good looking rigid SS 29er. Just bought my son a genesis latitude 10, nice bike, well pleased with the build quality. Quite fancy a hi latitude myself!
I've not had any of those above - but they dont exactly sound like vfm to me. I stand to be corrected.
What about something like this for £949 with rebas, slx and elixirs.(which has the downside of direct selling model):

Thanks all
I have narrowed it down to the Talon 0, Specialized Carve and i do like the look of that Canyon in both colors
The Talon has the better spec i think with the Recon Gold forks. Thats looking favourite
A late entrance into the race. Anyone know anything about these. Seems a good deal and its full Sus

Not the Jamis. That fork is pretty horrid really.
I would suggest taking the Carve and the Talon on a good demo ride each.
Most stores should let you. You usually have to pay a few quid but thus tends to be refunded if you buy.
On riding them you may like one much more than the other.
