I have a couple of pairs of these. Keep 'em covered with baggies offroad, you wouldn't want bramble snags messing them up.
I use mine for long road rides, where the constant position shows the shortcomings of lesser kit, but For MTB find regular shorts OK, as I tend to move around a lot more(?). Either way, nice shorts. You won't be disappointed.

I bought a pair of the F1 Mille S5's back in September, I'm pretty pleased with them, but not convinced that they're worth the extra 20+ quid I paid over my old De Marchi Contour Plus's.

I don't like the Uno, the Pad's too bulky, it feels like a nappy! The Mille and the FI.13 pads are much nicer.

The Gore Ozon bibshorts are far better for less money. Assos stuff has gone Rapha - form over function, their old stuff was unbeatable, I wouldn't bother now.

They'll be fine, my assos (without the apostrophe) shorts have lasted since the last century.
