Hi all,
I'd like some suggestions for a BMX/Jump bike that me n the mrs can play about on to improve our tricks n jumps skills on, to help with our general riding.
less than £300 would be preferable, given that I'd rather spend me cash on my XC.. an its gonna take some abuse as we aint skinny 9 stoners! 🙂
Thanks in advance!

Commencal Maxmax, yours for £189 plus postage. Less if you come and pick it up 😉 Still plenty of money left for a good suspension fork if you want it. Can be run with SS or Gears.

only ridden to post office and back once 😳

I got donated a 24" GT cruiser (thanks Gareth) it's allowed me to go and ride BMX again wth my son and I'd forgotten how much fun it is.
It's also highlighted how lazy I've got with landing jumps etc. and sharpened up my skills.

Sunday Model C is designed to handle like a bmx but be a bit more stable due to 24" wheels. Apparently most 24" cruisers are rubbish for anything you'd use a normal bmx for. The Sunday is really expensive though.

Oh and Deluxe have a sale on at the minute, you can get their frames for about £150. They have a lower bb and slacker HA than most bmxes, so should make the transition to bmx easier. I'm planning on getting a Deluxe if/when I can afford it.

I've got one of these, barely used. Yours for a decent offer 100ish? or trade for a 20" kids bike,

I got a 20" trails bike by accident on ebay. Has been great fun playing in the street with my kids. Great fun and the bigger tyres mean no bottoming out when mucking around. Just like I remember BMX being from twenty+ years ago. Even caught myself thinking about a trip to the nearest BMX track (for the education of the kids obviously)once the days warm up.

I run a 24" Haro race cruiser which is still very BMX-like (quick steering and short TT compared to a MTB).

I'd be tempted to suggest a 26" jump bike instead, as it's more user friendly and stable for jumping.

Much cheapness here. I never ride it and need the space!
