29er thinking Ikon or Ardent Race. Rear is currently Bonty xr2. I hear Xr2/3 can let go suddenly in the front, hence fancy trying something else.

My xr2 was predictably slithery at the greasy mudfest that was te Llanwrtyd Mtb Marathon on sunday.

X-King, XR2, Rocket Ron, Ardent Race.
But, they also regularly take place on soft moorland, so if its been wet, if you've got access to a proper mud tyre then take it with you.

Just a recommendation for a good all-rounder. Currently beaver on front left over form winter slop.
