a mate of mine 6ft 3 and 21 stone is lookin for a 29er for around a 1000 quid. Any advice on what to get would be appreciated 😀

Specialized Carve rides well and is reasonably specced for the money.

Sadly the Boardman 29ers aren't availabe in the UK. I can only assume that Halfords are scared of a "new" type of MTB but won't let Boardman sell them through another supplier (Wiggle).

The Cube 29ers are bargains, miles better value than the Carves.

Or if he wanted to chuck another £400 in there's a very flash looking carbon version.

Rose do a good spec one for that price. Stretch to £1260 and get a Canyon which is what I've done

The Charge did very well in reviews recently, tempted myself.
