I love my Stans Arches. I'm 100kgs and have been using them for 2 years. They have been faultless which is something I can't say about the frame above them!

i get confused between stans and no tubes, two different brands yes? i had one of them, pretty sure it was no tubes and you had to faff about with rim tapes. are the ones you recommend a 'true' tubeless out of the box or do they need tape?

Stans = No Tubes. I've set them up with the supplied rim tape and UST tyres. No problem at all.

yes i'd agree, once set up they are sound in use. i just prefer the mavics where they are good to go out of the box.

I've used Non UST or regular tyres on them too as they're often lighter.
Seal up real easy an hold pressure but its very tyre specific.
Maxxis Non UST tyres have worked fine for me.

P35 - depending on what style riding you want to do.
