[#10754556]

Probably been mentioned elsewhere / previously so apologies.
Rebuilt my Pace RC303 looking to run some semi slicks for hard pack XC with bit of road cross over so 50/50 I’d say.

Will be tubeless and 26” , advice on which / best please, no real budget.

Thanks in advance

I'm after exactly the same thing. Don't seem to be any 26" options I can see, so watching this thread to see if anyone spots anything.

Specialized Slaughter can be still got in 26". Might be a bit too aggressive on the edges for what you want.

Semi-slick? I had a hard enough time finding tubed semi-slick in 26" for my commuter... I think I got the last pair from Wiggle, their own label budget commuter sort.

How about something like a Maxxis Crossmark? Not a semi-slick but a fast rolling tyre with a bit of grip for the offroad bits.

I'm trying Maxxis Pace and Ardent Race on my hardtail which both have 26" versions available. Haven't really tested the grip yet but they're fast on the road and hardback.

You might be able to track down Thunder Burts somewhere.

Schwalbe make a variety of tubeless compatible Marathons in 26… the Almotion is supposed to have very low rolling resistance.

I dunno if they'll go up tubeless, but you can still get the Spesh Crossroads in 26 at a few places.

More of a canal path commuter tyre, but might work OK.

Thanks for response so far , really is a tricky one
Limited info let alone tyre options
Only stated semi slick but fast roller sounds way forward
And st least it’s not just me ........

Panaracer Comet Hardpack  are very decent tyres, I have them on my bafang cove hummer and they're perfect for hardpack riding, very easy to set up tubeless with stans sealant.

The comet hardpack look the way forward and thanks for reply
Looked at these before but no information/ indication on tubeless other than Kevlar folding (unless I’m being a bit thick lol )

They set up tubeless easy but the sidewalls do leak a bit to start with especially in the heat/direct sun, i run 30-35 ish psi and they've not been a problem.
