Looking for a couple of chainrings(26 & 40)to switch to a 2x9 setup, any recommendations?

The 40 will have to be a 'middle' ring, but it doesn't make the least bit of difference.

The only 40t they do has shifting ramps and stuff like a middle ring as opposed to like a big ring.
As I say, it makes no difference, I ran 28/40 for most of last year.
