looking for a down jacket.
all the usual outdoor clothing suppliers dont seem to make a very big one.
any idea's anyone?

A friend of mine can't be far off that size, he has a xxl Alpkit jacket

Really? I thought it went to a 53/54 inch chest? My powder jacket is huge on me. I reckon I could wear that over a couple of down jackets.
