[#1369638]

I'm taking a bunch of school kids up to Glentress in June and I'm looking for suitable accomodation. In the past we have stayed at Marthrown of Mabie bunkhouse which is perfect, but too far from Glentress so I'm looking for some suggstions please.

stayed in the Glentress Hotel once which was pretty good. they have a bunkhouse round the back

the best bit is it's next door to the trail centre! time for a pre-breakfast spin round blue and back for a fry up 🙂

i've stopped in the cross keys in peebles, very good and was £26 per person with breakfast for the bunkrooms. this year where stopping at mabie forest and using the camping cabin, which is £35 for 3 of us.

Can't get any closer than the Glentress Hotel, it's just by the turn off for the trailcentre carpark.
I've stayed there a few times over the years and it's always been good.

Hi, some links for you, the wigwams are even closer than the Glentress Hotel, but I am not sure if they are fully open yet. The campsites may have some statics for let.

Cheers guys, I'll look into them, but as philfive mentioned Mabie is really quite cheap so hoping to keep costs down.
