[#236134]

Going to go to Cornwall in the summer. Were a bit tied of Centerparcs but would like some thing for the kids to do and do some family riding.
Any good places to stay.

Cameltrail at Wadebridge or the Eden center are good for family cycling - loads of places to stay but no real decent offroad stuff - what part specifically?

cornwall is all about the beaches.

base yourself near padstow and you've got the camel trail, beaches close by and things like eden/heligan are only half hour away.

a really nice but pretty basic campsite is atlantic view at porthcothan.

halfway between newquay and padstow, direct walkable access to a beach and the coast path. pub about ten minutes walk and easy access to padstow.

I rather like the South, myself, as I sail down there. I'm often found to be propping up bars on the Helford River. Lovely, lovely place. Beaches aren't as great, but the sailing is superb (As is the top notch totty count!)

Some thing like centerparcs but not. If you know what I mean. Good accomadation with stuff to do but you don't feel you have to say there all the time. Need beach to be close.
