[Closed] Where to ride this weekend?

I am fancying getting out on my bike this weekend, but after recommendations as to where isn't too ruined by the amount of rain we have had recently.

I live in Durham and our local Hamsterley looked very chewed up and muddy when I was there 2 weeks ago doing a wildlife audit.

Debating Glentress, but a friend said 2 weeks ago the top half of the red route was closed with snow.

I am not fussed whether its day trip recommendation or a weekender but no more than 3 hours-ish of Durham.

Ideas please and trail conditions! 😀
