Looking for maybe five days riding at the start of the year - anyone ridden northern Majorca, or got some ideas for some tasty trails abroad around then?

Mallorca is more likely than not to be cold and wet in January. The Canary Islands are a better bet. I'd reckon on Tenerife as a starter for ten. Check out Rowan Sorrel's section in Find. I rode some off road out there on the crosser earlier in the summer. Good riding but rocky with a lot of stone pitching on some of the trails.
