Hey
I am planning to ride ceasars camp tomorrow but does anyone know exactly how to get to it? I've heard that it's behind the esso petrol station on upper hale road?
Any good trails anyone knows of?

From memory, the gate is on opposite side to esso garage, I normally ride there from Farnham.
Trails aren't marked, follow others if there are others riding there, or just explore
If you email me, I might be able to send you a gpx file, but I have only been there a few times, and don't claim to know it well at all

blimey it's been years since I rode round there... depends on where you start but basically anywhere you can find to park and just give it a good hammering, alternatively you can start from bourley lane or even from the forresters pub. Weekends are usually open but midweek riding can sometimes be interrupted by tanks and troops, just reroute not a problem as there are lots of trails
Before you go over that way, read up on the recent developments between various user groups and the MOD. I'm not saying don't go but be aware that straying off the fireroads is not strictly allowed so if you were to, and got seen / challenged by the land wardens or soldiers, please make yourself aware of the appropriate response. There are a lot of people working behind the scenes to resolve these access issues, please don't screw anything up by arguing the toss!
