Box and damage, worst bit is the grinding on the maxle and and adjuster cap, the fork was peeking out of the bottom of the box. Mild disappointment, but I will defo do similar at some point in the near future.
Pics show box upside down, was held by two staples and nothing else, bike fell out on arrival.
Fotos make mech look 2nd hand, but it is brand new, just slightly rubbed up.

The box had also been very wet at some point, luckily, partly precipitated by cha****ngs warning about the crap courier, before shipping I asked them to send me pics and it was in great condition. the edges of the box are all crinkled. This might explain the delay in shipping - they were waiting for it to dry out. There was planetwide torrential rain last week.

Have you sent those pics to the shop so they can re evaluate their choice of courier? Glad you're happy with it but if I'd just spent over 2K and received that I'd be livid and it'd be going straight back.

I'd be livid and it'd be going straight back.

To be honest, a pragmatic approach is that its going to look not unlike that a few rides in, does it make any difference to me, not really. Therefore I can't be arsed with the hassle. aslo now I have got it, I aint letting it go, it seems like I've won a prize to get such a great spec for so little.

I often think that property owns you, in that you are so afraid of damaging it that you cant enjoy it, people being cautious about new cars, motorbikes and new bikes. So I am glad its got a few scratches, so now I can thrash its little arse without hesitation.

The wife does this every time we get a new (2nd hand) car, she tries to get me to be the first to dent it so she has the freedom to drive like a banshee.

I did email them the pics and they apologised, I'm satisfied.

Good on you Toys, I'd do exactly the same. Sure I'd be a bit miffed for 5mins but as long as it was slight cosmetic stuff, just crack on.
I do wonder if some people actually ride the bikes they buy ? The Reign looks great I'm sure you'll love it ๐Ÿ˜€
