I happen to know that your local LBS have to order a couple of hubs from Hope for a wheel build in the near future.

Last time I rang Hope direct for a part they said I had to go through a bike shop, but thanks for the suggestion.

If the freehub body itself is OK you can rebuild it using bearings / pawls and springs - though it'll only save you @ £10 on the complete unit. That's what I'm doing as a quick search gave rushcycles as having one in stock but never ordered off them and feel the urge to rebuild.
