Doing a frame build and the bars I’m taking from one bike to the other won’t go with this frame at all - I do t usually care but it’ll look hideous. So I need some new 760-800mm bars, and possibly a stem if the new bars are 35mm, but there doesn’t seem to be the selection and varieties since I last bought some; certainly from CRC and Wiggle. So where else should I be looking these days?

Same for me, really struggling with groupsets, wheels etc. I know that Leisure Lakes have bars like Thomson and Deity in stock. They were the only place I could source the saddle that I wanted as well.

I used Leisure Lakes recently for my C2W scheme, they were good and was able to get the new SRAM Eagle kit and the OneUp pump and tool for me. Bikester and Tredz have been pretty good too!

If i am buying a few bits I tend to go to bike-discount.de to make it worth the postage.

Classifieds. You just have to not need it NOW.

Covid innit. Supplys have took a hit. 2022 before things get back to normal according to a few bods in the industry. Brexit next to add to the pain of getting stuff from Europe.

Yeah the classifieds are tough to time it right and EBay is utterly frustrating in dealing with such ignorant people.

One would hope Black Friday delivers savings also but I don’t remember it ever delivering anything of note, and with there already being a supply/demand issue I guess there’s no need to either.

Thanks for the above; forgot about LeisureLakes.

Some of the German sites are doing ok for stock and prices. Just need to add postage.

BikeInn
Bikester
Rose (Rosebikes.de)

Still find Merlin great. Tweeks also good recently, and Sigma Sports.

Got to admit my last few purchases have been from planet x and they've been really good.

Picked up some new carbon bars for £20 odd quid and they are spot on.
