So, its cold outside and more than a little muddy. How about another one of those group rides, only this time I'l try not to be ill or in another country.

A Pre Spring celebration of stuff.....STW style.......?

I'm possibly going to be there for a week day ride week commencing the 22nd. Waiting to hear back from a couple of people. Thursday 25th is the front runner at the moment.

Always happy to organise another Swinley Forest ride but am totally reliant on STW'ers stepping forward with offers to help guide and sweep the groups ๐Ÿ™‚

Is anyone up for a very wet Mid Wales Tywi track type ride thingy? I'm happy to lead at a gentlemanly pace, fun on the trails and tea in the bothy are the watchwords. Bring teabags, milk, buns and a cooker thing.

They're a bit south of Bristol

So however far from Hertfordshire, to Bristol, then a bit further... At a guess, 2 1/2 hours.

Jedi, about 4 1/2 hours. You need to make a weekend of it. Xc Saturday and uplift downhill day Sunday.

Sort of between Llyn Brianne and Claerwen Reservoir. I'd be staying at one of the local bothies or perhaps the pub in Pontrhydfendigaid.

jedi - it take me about 1.5hrs from swindon and for me to get to swinley it's about an hour (40mins to j10 of the M4). if one of the lads could post up a postcode/sat nav thing that would help.

sharki/knottie and co - does the 20/21 weekend suit you?

OK, so in order we have:

Quantocks March 20/21st

Exmoor 1st week in April (avoiding all the yellow rubber ducks floating around the streams that time of year)

Purbecks April

Swinley? I am up for helping out, CG, name the weekend.

Did I miss anything there?
Would be good to get a god turn out to all of these.

Would that mean you would be available on the 21st, and could teach a few of us the black magic art of raising wheels higher than half an inch off the deck?

20th 21st is no good for me, don't mind helping out with the orgasming again but can't arsist with guidage.

Dropoff, a bit of both, non offical uplifts, but from local Downhillers....i'll contact them and see what the crack is..
