On our Xmas doo ride this happened to one of our riders...good job we were just taking it easy.

Seen a fair share of bikes come into shops I've worked in with bits of rim missing due to pad-wear...

I must have got through half a dozen rims like that back in the day..very sandy were i live and it hammered rims and pads
