Factory fire notwithstanding, when do Shimano normally announce new mtb groupsets? Just thinking of buying a 11sp XT at some point, but wondering if the new shiz will be imminent anytime soon.

Shimano work on a four year cycle, XTR is due its update and will probably be announced around Sea Otter, available around Sept/Oct. XT will be updated next year.
