Trying to find a bargain Hope BB today, thought I was onto a winner with Wiggle's £10 off stuff over £50 bringing price down to £51.66. However, they've no stock! Anyway spotted these Wheels Manufacturing BB's for £50, they look pretty similar to Hope's effort and claim to be entirely as servicable as Hope. Anyone any experience of these?
I saw one being installed in my local LBS and it was the smoothest BB i'd ever seen. Before they tightened it up properly it just span and span when the XT one there managed about 1 or 2 rotations. My mate who works there raves about them but they were still waiting on the longer term test results coming in as they were only just starting to sell a few. I think he's just put one on his own singlespeed as well and all appears fine so far.
Bearing quality is said to be excellent and i believe they are rebuildable like the Hope ones (you'd have to check though as i'm not 100% on that).
