Hi,

I have the following bike and wanted to upgrade the wheels (Scott scale 950 - 2013)
http://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Bikes,3/Scott/Scale-950,12554#product-specs

So I've bought some dt Swiss x1700 29er wheels from here which are currently set up as 15mm qr front and qr rear.
Does anyone know if I need to convert the hubs on them to fit my bike? I'm now thinking my forks might be 9mm qr so won't be compatible?

Cheers,
Andy

Ok, I guess I'm wondering if the wheels are which are setup for 15mm qr will work as they are with my 9mm forks? Or if I'll need to adapt them?

No, they won't

They will need to be adapted.

QR15 axles slide through one side of the fork, through the wheel, and then thread into the other side of the fork. Your 9mm axle sits in the dropouts - and is clamped by a quick release lever and nut.
