Hi,
I have the following bike and wanted to upgrade the wheels (Scott scale 950 - 2013)
http://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Bikes,3/Scott/Scale-950,12554#product-specs
So I've bought some dt Swiss x1700 29er wheels from here which are currently set up as 15mm qr front and qr rear.
Does anyone know if I need to convert the hubs on them to fit my bike? I'm now thinking my forks might be 9mm qr so won't be compatible?
Cheers,
Andy

These pics anygood? (I don't have the new wheels yet so can only photo the forks)
Cheers!
This would suggest adaptors are available
https://www.dtswiss.com/Accessories/End-cap-solution-MTB
The adaptors would have been with the wheels when originally delivered
Anyone else?
Your fork is 9mm qr, is the answer above no good?
Ok, I guess I'm wondering if the wheels are which are setup for 15mm qr will work as they are with my 9mm forks? Or if I'll need to adapt them?

No, they won't
They will need to be adapted.
QR15 axles slide through one side of the fork, through the wheel, and then thread into the other side of the fork. Your 9mm axle sits in the dropouts - and is clamped by a quick release lever and nut.
LBS...let the experts take the pain out of it!!
Ok thanks, hopefully they will arrive with the correct adaptor or a trip to the lbs it is ๐
Cheers
