Looking for a wheel truing stand if anyone can recommend what they got?

Looked at the park tool one at £80 but looks like you need to spend £50 for thru axle adaptors.

Looking to use it with QR, threaded axle, 12mm and 15mm

Only using it for truing wheels not building at this stage

Can anyone also recommend something to check tension?

Thanks

I’ve got the tacx exact stand that I bought from Fb classifieds for £20. It’s pretty basic, but it does the job. I’ve build 3 sets of wheels on it (the only wheels I’ve ever built) and all food so far. I did also buy a dishing tool but that was a nice to have.

Qr fits daughter through it. For 15x100 I bought an adapter for £4 from eBay. For a boost 148x12 I bought a £12 adapter from ebay, the arms of the trying stand flex for all the widths I’ve tried. I think something like a 157mm fat bike hub (or wider) would be a step too far.

To add, those stands are for checking trueness, not tension.

I bought a park tools spoke tension meter after doing the first set of wheels by feel.
