[#1237388]

I've currently got a set of Hope Hoops with the DT5.1d's on them, they reside on my Nicolai Helius CC's (130mm of travel).

Riding wise I tend to frequent Welsh trail centres & natural stuff and occasionally visit the Peaks & the Lakes.

I'm weighing in at 80kgs.

The question is would a set of Hope Hoops with 4.2d's on there be up to the job or are they a bit delicate for a 130mm travel FS?

ZTR Flows, lighter and tougher than 4.2s.

Thats out of the question, I'm not getting them built as it's a possible swap with a mate

They should be alright Steve - I'm using a 717/4.2 combo on my 135mm Jekyll - if the builds fine then it's strong enough

Well they're Hope Hoops and I've had no worries with mine.

Just out of curiosity, how much lighter is a 4.2d than a 5.1d?
