Building Hope Pro 2 onto Stans Arch. Spoke calcs seem to indicate 260 left and 261 right and visa versa for the rear. The 261 measurement was a little over, so thought I might go for 260/262 (and as I have some ACI spokes in stock). Can't find anywhere on the net that stocks the odd numbered sizes anyhow, not at a fair price, CRC seem only to do even numbered. Was also wondering about using some 12mm quality alloy nipples to save a bit of weight over brass (not on drive side rear as I understand these should always be brass). Never used alloy nipples before as brass in stock. A few questions here but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I really wouldn't worry about 1 or 2mm either way!

Brass vs Alloy nipples really depends on how often you think you're going to need to true the wheels. Brass is better for that, but grease whichever you decide on and you'll probably be OK.

Never had any problems with ally nipples, drive-side or otherwise.

Not sure if Roger Musson's book is still available to download but it's well worth it if you can.
