Someone I know is going to build a set of wheels for me. I'm sourcing all the parts and handing it to him. My rims are DT Swiss XM421 29"and the hubs are Hope Pro4 28H boost front and rear. I have been on Prowheelbuild.com and put in the various bits of info. They did not have my rims so I used the XM401(DT Swiss site showed they were almost identical with a 1mm ERD difference) and adjusted the ERD to 602mm. This gave me a spoke length of,
Front L/H 296.7 , R/H 295.5
Rear L/H 295.7 , R/H 296.5
This is with a 3 cross pattern.
Do i need to round these measurements up or down to the nearest spoke length bearing in mind they will be built with DT Squorx nipples.
Nearest size i can get is 294, 295, 296 and 298.
If someone wants to check my spoke length calc feel free to correct me.

I would suggest you have done something wrong;

The left side front (disc side) should be shorter than the right (non disc side) front
The right side rear (drive side) should be shorter than the left (disc side) rear

DT Calc using Hopes published dimensions gives me

FL 295.7 (296), FR 296.5 (297)
RL 296.7 (297), RR 295.5 (296)

Pr wheel builder gives me

295.7/296.5
296.7/295.5

If I was building I would use 296 and 297

Why not use the dt Swiss calculator? It lists the rim as 603mm.

If you have the rims you could measure the erd yourself to confirm.

Round by the smallest amounts you can, anything under 1mm is fine either way.

Don't use their squarx nipples, but some nice sapim polyax brass ones. Or any brass nipple.
