i love john carpenters music for the original haloween

basic synth but well scary

also a bit diluted by over use but where would "Jaws" be without the music

Love the music for eternal sunshine of the spotless mind - the beck cover of "i need your loving ... "(may not be actual title)makes be blub like a big girl

I'd have to go with Pi, Layer Cake and probably Top Gun. All great compilations of tunes.

Much of the above is great but my favourite has to be the life aquatic with steve zissou, how can you not like an album full of bowie originals and Portuguese cover versions?

Snatch was surprisingly good too

Quadrophenia.

Placcy mod! 😉

Morricone, yes! A Fistful of Dollars is my fave one I've heard.

3rd (or possibly 4th or 5th, i can't be arsed to read the thread) The Big Lebowski.

Blaxploitation films usually have amazing soundtracks. Black Caesar and Superfly are two of my faves.

L'Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg is technically a soundtrack (to a TV special) and is such an awesome record, I want to run home and listen to it right now.

Anyone who likes Bullit should check out Piero Piccioni's soundtrack to [url=

on a Chain.

Cool. My brother watched that endlessly when it first came out onto video - I had the soundtrack on two 12" singles.
