Yeah, big crash last year in the dauphine, broke his pelvis and hasn't quite recovererd fully.
And his brother got done for doping so he has probably not risked it for himself for a season or two..................
He's in better form now than anytime in the last 18 months IMO, gone from not finishing single dayers to nearly completing the TdF.
