Whats the minimum you'd take out with you on a ride ie. tools etc? I'll only be riding local and llandegla for now but will want to start venturing further when I get a bit fitter???

Minimum is me and the bike - no tools or spares - What's the worst that can happen? Walk back...

Pump, tube. Sometimes not even that.

It's riding a bike, in a reasonably civilised country, with a temperate climate.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll start to get some of the things, starting with a puncture repair kit or inner tube and a pump!
Genesis- I'll not be up this week but will in the week after.
