Im fed up with lockouts that dont ie - Reba SL & Team leaving and inch of travel and lockouts that dont unlock at the first sign of mud.
Must not need servicing every week !
Magura forks with DLO become totally rigid apparently.
DT Swiss go are totally rigid. The lever is pretty small and fragile mind.

Mine certainly are - maybe one mm movement but nothing really.
TBH I prefer the 'not totally locked out' feel of Rockshox but I very rarely if ever use it anyway...
is the Magura much better than Rockshox where the lockout is at the top of the leg. Thats where my Rebas just gets clogged
DT swiss with the fork top lever is good, I don't use the bar mounted lever. It locks where it is too so you can lock short or tall..
The twin shot system works very very well for climbing too.

The floodgate should have enough adjustment that the forks have no movement when locked out. If they don't, then there isn't enough oil in the damper.
I liked the "lock-down" rather than "lock-up" of my old Marzzochi Marathon SLs. Any other forks which lock out in the fully-compressed position? Windwave are a real PITA for spares and this has put me off another set of 'zochis.
Yeh DT Swiss work well, totally rigid. Has fully open, rigid and a half way setting where the travel drops to about 60mm, pretty handy for steep climbs off road.
Came on a new bike, I like them a lot. Totally unscientific but I found them a lot easier to set-up right for my weight and riding style than Fox.
What about MoCo XX, no cables to get sticky.
Rockshox SID World cup, rock solid, very easy to set up. Shop around for last seasons for a bargin buy.
Manitou R7 lookout to fully rigid as well and they are very light
It's not a complete lockout but the xx rs moco is pretty much set and forget with the occasional 5 min bleed. You can firm up the mo-co lockout with a few extra mil's of oill in the damper side as long you get the rebound rod to move fully up and down. I would have to say that the fox lock out is the firmest I have used.
I've raced on Fox F100X forks for years and found them pretty faultless (I don't do any servicing). You get a small amount of movement when they're locked out - maybe 1cm, but work really well.
Fox 100.
Faultless.
Adjustable lockout too with my lever (it's got a barrel adjuster on it which adjusts it)
Lock out on my 2008 Reba fork limits travel to a very small amount i reckon - perhaps 5mm.
I'm very impressed with the lockdown on my Mav SC32s.
The new Fox F100 / F120 forks with Terralogic are excellent. I have some of the F120s and when they only move when required, not cheap though.
Actual lockout i have used on Rockshox in the past and always found it to be pretty good - Reba Team and SID (I think race but not sure).
