I have a pretty damn nice MTB at the moment, my dream bike in fact, and I'm not changing it anytime soon. But, that doesn't stop me from looking at other bikes... 😉
There's just so many incredible MTBs coming out right now, so - what's on your "Ooooh, I'd really like one of them! *drool* *wonders how to get the money for the 4th bike you've seen this week...*" list?
Pics, of course.
Here's mine.
Actofive P Train. The name is brilliant, and that CNC high pivot idler wheel rear end. Fnarrrr.
I would stick a red 140mm lyrik and superdeluxe coil on that and ride it until I was finished.
Deviate Highlander.

Kingdom Vendetta, Ti hardtail. (This one's actually on my possible buy list - in singlespeed, mullet mode, but also on my WANT list).

Radon Render 10.0 HD. E-power, electric shifting, 220mm magura goodness.

And a bit of gravel - Kingdom Beam Ti gravel frame.

Paracetamol.
New job.
Bottle of whisky.
That should do.
I actually don't have one!!!
I bought a Park Tools track pump today, a dropper post the other day.
Also bought a new crankset for the Parkwood in turbo mode, 42t to help getting the power down indoors.
I'm debating a KTM based leather jacket, but not sure I need it.
Bikes, nope, got 3 in the last few months, so none needed.
Paracetamol.
Haha. I can emphasise - I work in IT support and I've had those weeks where you're doing a millionty things all at once and it's still not enough, and then something else breaks...
The site looks awesome though, and all those links above worked, first time! 😀
a twangy, skinny, steel 26"er with disc brakes like i used to have. (soulcraft, dekerf, etc), pre all that CEN stuff. never see any advertised these days, although tbh, i dont look that much either 😀
After 3 months of sciatica, I want to regain full use of my calf and foot so I can ride properly again
Summer.
Summer.
That as well.
A pink Prestige Ibanez AZ
A Honda Jazz hybrid.
New knees.
A large mixed chicken and doner kebab with chilli and garlic sauce.
Haha. I can emphasise – I work in IT support and I’ve had those weeks where you’re doing a millionty things all at once and it’s still not enough, and then something else breaks…
That’s not my field. I’ve a knackered, neck, shoulder and back due to my work. It’s been playing up since Monday night and I’ve ran out of Paracetamol. There’s none in any shops around here so it’s going go be a long week at work.
Currently pondering if I want a new 160 fork for my 27.5" bike or swap it all to a Ripmo 2.
Damper for my Yari and a coil shock for the rear. And a Vito.
A new MacBook or Mac mini/iMac as my 2008 MacBook now struggles to play 720 vids amongst other niggles, dunno whether to get one now, wait a month till the next apple release and see if prices come down on the refurbished store or perhaps it’s not worth it as if I get Coronavirus I’ll most likely be one of the statistics due to my spms and immune/lung issues 😉😷🤧🤒
I'd like a Mondraker Superfoxy Carbon RR please.
And a garage. I already have a garage but it's full of all my crap
V600 Le Mans in ARG
An endless supply of the 2000 Belle Epoque
Turbo Levo SL Founder's Edition
Defy Advanced Pro 0
GGL for life
Some new blue/black ink for my every day pen. So hard to find these days!
I'm a man of simple tastes, really.
Grim Donut please.
Quite fancying a pizza oven. Not sure how much I'd use it but I can see an Ooni Karu finding its way here sometime over the summer.
To live somewhere with propper hills!
Not a fan of superbikes, kinda want a calibre sentry pro. Looking forward to seeing what Mike does at Planet X.

On the road I want a SystemSix. In the flesh they look fast just stacked up in the shop, I just think its a really cool looking bike.

I kinda want/need a track bike as I want to give racing a go.
Having convinced myself I wasnt going to get a new bike I was going to get some Garmin vectors on C2W but too much uncertainty and really dont want to be lumped with redundancy and a ~£500 bill simultaneously at any point later in the year!
After a demo the other day I want an ebike! I’m after an enduro ebike preferably. I want it to have a shimano motor, alloy frame, a fork better than a yari and a larger battery than 500! And come in less than £4K. Lucky for my bank balance the sweet spot bike doesn’t yet exist to tempt me.
Things I did realised were, the drive train doesn’t matter to much on an ebike, I was riding nx eagle and my mate was on the new xt and swapping about I didn’t notice much benefit. The other thing I realised was that an alloy frame with better bits would be the way to go, I reckon.
Other than that I’d quite like to find a nice aero road frame 2nd hand to build up a nice summer roadie bike, something like a TCR would be nice.
Free time and money to ride. None of my bikes ar anywhere near new but the main thing is my lack of time to go riding.
RSD Middlechild Ti
Mountain Dew
Cake
More sweets

Loving the looks of gravel bikes with flared drops but I have both a winter road bike and a hard tail so there’s really no need at all! I can justify all the four I have but really don’t think I could fit that in and still make it seem ok!
I want to live in a country that isn't so cold, dark and claustrophobic.
I'll happily ride my current bike anywhere.
Dreaming a Fairlight Secan and one of the Stanton Full Suspension bikes. More sensibly something like a Yari up and some fitness. Got a buggered lower back at the moment just as the weather seems to have finally improved grrrr.
Got my eye on one of these to replace me mk2 SC Nomad. Pair it with a Fox 34 and a set of Carbon wheels.

Medium Solaris Max and a Yaris GR4. One is more likely than the other...
The week with Freeride Madeira (anyone used them recently?) that I have been thinking about for the last 3 months but haven't booked yet......Then along comes coronavirus and throws all my sketchily conceived ideas/plans/vague thoughts into turmoil.
Bah!
A pair of Nike Alphafly's.

Working feet. (Getting there though)
Grim Donut
you want the ride review (fair enough) or you actually want one (errrmmm)
My want- my 8 month old son to sleep through the night in his own bed.
I'd also like to work shorter hours, therefore having more family time and some free time.
Cayman GT4. Flippin lovely
I’m currently unemployed and on the verge of bankruptcy but...well, you can dream can’t you
An un-buggered left hand so I can ride off-road properly.
New forks and pedals to finish off my new full sus build.
No rain, little wind.
Then it gets a bit airy fairy. Santa Cruz Stigmata to see if I can make drop bars work for me in a gravel environment (current groveller is a hybridized 26" MTB). AXS upgrade for my summer roadie, and maybe some fast carbon wheels for it...
Have no need for this really, but want it

Might as well get on the bandwagon, this seems to be the best of them

I'll take an Ibis Ripley in black/large and a new Hyundai i30N please. I may get one, the other is definite no!
A tame bike mechanic to come and do all the jobs I CBA with, and to tidy my garage up.
And a brand new LWB Transit custom crewcab would actually be the first thing I'd buy if I won the lottery.
New Propain Tyee looks very sweet indeed!
Also really like the Radon Render, although the geo looks a little compromised.
If I was to take my brain out and make a snap decision on a dream bike it would be this:

But if I were feeling braver, I'd probably stick to aluminium and try something like this:

It would have to have straight tubes whatever though 🙂
Bird Aether 7
Nice membrane waterproof jacket
Maybe a lightweight full face helmet
I too have a liking for the Pivot FS bikes, even though the geometry's a bit conservative for my taste. They just look great.
Still think my Orange looks better though.
Far too long and depressing to list, trying to be very restrained while hopefully getting on the housing ladder at long last this year.
Toyota Yaris GR4 please 🙂 or does it have to be a bike?
