How much is it worth? Tidy bike but need to sell 🙁
Half what you paid for it, more if you split it (if everything is new)
As Mike says. Start at half what you can buy a new one for, then keep dropping the price until someone buys it.
An actual £ was what i was looking for
Value in £=£ what it cost x0.5.
Betterer?
so £700 ish to build - £350 then yeah??
About £250 I reckon
about wrong reckon
Also depends on whether you are happy to post it (I can never be bothered but you severely limit your market if you don't)
Frame size makes a difference as small or very large again limits your market
Genesis tend to sell ok second hand. The newish kit makes next to no difference on the price though I'm afraid
I'd think you'd get £350 but that's only my guesstimate
Search completed sales on eBay and that'll give you a barometer
about wrong reckon
Well if you know what it's worth, why ask?

£325
£350 is ambitious but you might get that on eBay on a good day. You'll then drop £60 on fees and postage. For a direct sale on here maybe £300 and see if anyone offers close.
ebay, 99p no reserve. You'll find out precisely how much it's worth.
more if you split it
only works if youve got a build of desirable/high end components. Pov spec Deore, CB seatpost, 80-quid-new wheels will fetch very little, especially if you try selling it here and factor in postage costs. Ive got nicer bits cluttering up my garage which I can't be bothered to try sell for the £/hassle factor.
wow aren't you the lucky boy!!
Someone's making friends....
iamanobody- just stick it on the classifieds, instead of trying to drum up interest here.
HTF can i do that without a price??
Oh shut up.
Sorry. I'm grumpy tonight.
Nice enough bits, uninteresting frame- £375.

Three prices, so aim for the middle, £350, and see what happens.
Lucky? No I earned the money I bought the stuff with. Feel free to break it, sell the wheels for 40 quid then pay 20 quid posting them...My point was its not a bike worth splitting.
Half of retail is optimistic- see what sort of discounts the likes of Paul's Cycles do on old stock, that's what you've got to compete with.
