Hi

Will be selling my old full sus 26er but want to get people's view on price. It is all in great condition and the chain, chain rings, cassette, jockey wheels are all brand new (replaced today)

I was thinking 750 - what do you reckon?

2010 giant anthem X
2010 Fox 32 rear shock
2010 Rockshox SID World Cup (the blue ones) with remote lock out
Formula R1 brakes (blue to match forks)

26" and almost 7 years old, you may need to manage your exceptions no matter how nice it is.

Personally I think £750 is optimistic. Used search on eBay would suggest less.

A lot less than you think. Second hand 26 inch bikes don't go for great money, better to keep it. Probably £450

Looking at ebay they appear to be going for 500-700 with fairly bog standard kit. Given some of the top end bits on this (wheels and brakes etc) the top end of this range seems reasonable even if a 26er - what about 650?

Yeh deffo, I think if you split it down and sold all the bits individually you'd probably get more (maybe).

That's the idea - I guess im just getting comfortable with a few hundred less than I'd expected

Strip it and sell parts seperately?
Some nice bits on there for sure, but very much a buyers market for miniature wheels.

As above, less interest in 26"
Stick it in the loft for three years till the industry goes back to 26".
